Mace60
Mace60 is a 32 bit Windows program for counting and characterizing colonies of microorganism cells in 60 mm petri dishes. It is being used in a cancer reseach application at Yale Medical School for mammalian celll colonies in a cancer reserch application. Mace60 runs on any Windows 2000, XP or Vista computer. It uses any desktop scanner that is TWAIN compliant and can process up to nine petri dishes at one time. A fixture is provided for accurate locations of the dishes on the scanner.
The demonstration can open and process a supplied image containing nine petri dish images.

Mace100

It uses any desktop scanner that is TWAIN compliant and can process up to four petri dishes at one time. A fixture is provided for accurate locations of the dishes on the scanner.
